1942 - Ioannis Ladenis establishes its own business of underwear production in Salonika under the most severe economic and social conditions and the least advanced technological support
1965 - The personal enterprise of Mr. Ioannis Ladenis becomes a Partnership Company.
1970 - Minerva moves its production to a new modern factory. This move allows the company to expand into a large range of products, which correspond to the increasing qualitative and quantitative expectations of consumers.
1974 - The partnership converts into a Societe Anonyme maintaining the name “J. & B. Ladenis Bros SA MINERVA Knitwear Manufacturing Company”
1975-1995 - During those two decades Minerva, under the leadership of Mr. Ioannis Ladenis, expands progressively into new product lines and manages to establish itself as a leader within the men’s underwear market.
1995 - The company’s common stock enters the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange with a share capital increase.
2000 - MINERVA established a subsidiary in Romania under the name MINCO ROMANIA SRL, aiming initially to produce parent Company products as a third party contractor and secondly to commercially distribute products manufactured in the subsidiary’s facilities in the Romania market and in the markets of neighboring countries
2002 - The first part of the investment in Romania was completed and as a result Minco Romania became fully operational.
2003 - an investment of the subsidiary company MINCO of amount € 915 thous was decided by a relevant committee that is in accordance with the provisions of article 8 of Law 2601/98 and therefore eligible for a subsidy of 30%.
2004 - the company established jointly with the family of D. Skenderoglou a Societe Anonyme under the name ELETEN S.A. aiming at:
- the industrial production and trade of knitting products, that is to say fabric, underwear, pyjamas, children, women and men clothes, shocks etc.
- the industrial production and trade of products related to kids, christening, baby growth, equipment for baby and children room and related products.
- the establishment of retail shops for the distribution of the produced or other products.
